A little technology goes a long way. The cells from a single shrimp allows us to cultivate the same amount of meat that ordinarily would come from hundreds of thousands of traditionally farmed shrimps.


At scale, we project cultivated meat will use 77% less water and 62% less land than conventional meat. And we expect these numbers to get better over time.


Our meat is cultivated in a clean, contamination-free facility. By reducing the number of animals raised and processed, we decrease the susceptibility to animal-borne diseases.
